Catawba Elder Beckee Garris tells the Catawba creation story "First Woman," and the traditional Catawba story of the Yehasuri, the "little people." She contextualizes the stories within Catawba culture and society by talking about Catawba history and traditions. Also includes discussion of a book collection of Native stories which included these tales.
